Acoustic Guitar has its own melody and beauty. It is, for many people, one of the best instruments to learn. Beside one can always find lots of songs and music to keep entertaining and having fun with it forever in life.
What I say to my all students is
“You have learnt guitar then it means you have developed a skill, a love, a friendship that is always with you :)”
Majority of people fails in their training because they don’t accept or understand the facts of being independent in guitar, means they lack the training that a learned guitarist had.
If you ask me, I will say it in one word ‘Strong foundation’.
Let’s take an example – If a Cricket player gets out of form, the solution is that he move back to nets for practicing and re-establish its basics. Coming back to basics. If basics are missed, timing is missed, control is missed and everything is missed there on.
But if basics are not even known/told or developed/practiced upon then the whole guitaring is missed, the direction is missed.
Guitar is similar, your strong playing emerges from strong basics and foundation.
Test and analyze your teaching system by asking –
“Am I improving here?” or check reviews of students who have learnt before.
Your some of the Key points for being a Good Learner is REGULARITY, DISCIPLINE, LOTS OF PRACTICE, GOOD MENTOR, PRACTICE REGIME and RIGHT COUNSELING
So, make sure that your Guitar foundations are strong enough to lead you to success.
